Beetroot Rose Latte Recipe
This Beetroot Rose Latte is a delicious and beautiful pink-hued drink with a delicate balance of earthy beetroot, fragrant rose water, and the creaminess of plant-based milk. A perfect caffeine-free latte that's comforting and nourishing, this drink is easy to prepare and makes a stunning presentation with frothed milk, cocoa nibs, and dried rose petals as garnish.
- 2 tablespoons Beetroot powder
- 1 tablespoon Warm water
- 3 teaspoons Maple syrup
- 2 teaspoons Rose water
- ½ cup Unsweetened plant-based milk Milk of choice
- ¾ cup Soy milk Or any plant-based milk that foams
- Cocoa nibs For garnish
- Dried rose petals For garnish
In a small saucepan, add beetroot powder, warm water, maple syrup, and rose water. Whisk to combine and dissolve the beet mixture.
Add 1/2 cup of plant-based milk into the saucepan and warm the mixture over medium heat, stirring often until it’s hot.
Pour the hot beetroot milk into a tall mug and set it aside.
Froth 1/2 cup of soy milk using a milk frother or a hand-held frother.
Gently top the mug of beetroot milk with the frothed soy milk.
Garnish with cocoa nibs and dried rose petals before serving.
- You can use any plant-based milk that foams well, such as almond or oat milk, instead of soy milk.
- Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less maple syrup to your taste.
