Ingredients
  

  • 1 French baguette
  • 3-4 tablespoons Kewpie chunky garlic spread
  • 200 g Swiss cheese grated
  • 1 small onion diced
  • 1 tomato diced
  • 1-2 green chilis sliced
  • 2 teaspoons fresh or dried parsley
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1-2 tablespoons olive oil or oil of choice

Instructions
 

Preheat the Oven:

  • Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
  • Line a baking tray with parchment or baking paper.

Prepare the Cheese Mixture:

  • In a medium bowl, mix together the garlic spread, grated Swiss cheese, diced onion, diced tomato, sliced green chilis, parsley, salt, and pepper until well combined.

Prepare the Baguette:

  • Slice the French baguette in half lengthwise.
  • Brush both sides of the baguette slices with olive oil.

Assemble the Cheese Toast:

  • Place the baguette slices on the prepared baking tray, cut side up.
  • Spread the creamy cheese mixture evenly over each slice.

Bake:

  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbling and lightly golden brown.

Serve:

  • Remove from the oven, slice, and enjoy while hot!

Notes

  • You can substitute the Kewpie chunky garlic spread with a mixture of butter, minced garlic, and a pinch of salt for a similar flavor.
  • Adjust the amount of green chilis according to your spice preference.
