Description

This healthy Gâteau Poire & Avoine is a delicious and wholesome dessert made with the natural sweetness of pears and the hearty texture of gluten-free oats. Perfect for a quick treat, this cake is easy to make and combines the comforting flavors of oatmeal and fresh fruit, topped with a hint of chocolate for an extra indulgence.

Ingredients

Cake Batter

  • 1 piece Pear Peeled and sliced into thin slices
  • 35 grams Gluten-Free Oats Use certified gluten-free oats for a gluten-free version
  • 1 piece Egg Large egg
  • 100 ml Milk Use dairy or plant-based milk
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Vanilla powder or extract
  • 10 grams Chocolate Chopped into small pieces
  • 1 tsp Honey Optional, for added sweetness

Instructions

Baking the Cake

  • Peel and slice the pear into thin slices. Set aside.
  • In a bowl, whisk together the egg, milk, vanilla, and honey (if using).
  • In a separate bowl, mix the gluten-free oats, baking powder, and salt.
  • Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and stir until combined.
  • Fold the pear slices and chopped chocolate into the batter.
  • Pour the batter into a mold suitable for your Airfryer. Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 15 minutes, then reduce the temperature to 160°C (320°F) and bake for another 5 minutes.
  • Let the cake cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • If you prefer a sweeter cake, add a little more honey to the batter.
  • If you don't have an Airfryer, you can bake this cake in a traditional oven at 180°C (350°F) for 20 minutes.
