These no-bake fig chai almond energy balls are a wholesome, nourishing snack packed with natural sweetness and warm autumn spices. Made from dried figs, medjool dates, cashews, and chai-infused almond butter, they come together quickly in a food processor. Perfect for meal prep, these bite-sized treats are vegan, gluten-free, and free from refined sugar. Simply roll them in shredded coconut or cacao nibs for a cozy and satisfying pop of flavor.

Ingredients

  • 200 g medjool dates pitted
  • 300 g dried figs
  • 300 g cashews
  • 175 g crunchy almond chai butter or crunchy almond butter plus 1 tsp chai spice mix
  • 1-2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2-1 tsp ground cardamom
  • ½ tsp pink Himalayan salt
  • 1-2 tbsp maple syrup optional, for extra sweetness
  • shredded coconut or cacao nibs for coating

Instructions

  • Pulse the cashews in a food processor until broken into coarse chunks.
  • Add the pitted dates, dried figs, almond chai butter, ground cinnamon, ground cardamom, salt, and maple syrup (if using) to the food processor.
  • Blend all ingredients together until a sticky dough forms.
  • Roll the dough into bite-sized balls using your hands.
  • Roll each ball in shredded coconut or cacao nibs to coat.
  • Place the balls in the refrigerator to chill and set before serving.

Notes

  • If your dates or dried figs feel too dry, soak them in hot water for 15 minutes and drain well before blending.
  • Store the powerballs in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
