Strawberry Milk:
- Handful of fresh strawberries
- 1-2 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 cup dairy-free milk
Matcha:
- ½ tbsp matcha powder
- ¼ cup dairy-free milk
- 2 tsp maple syrup
Prepare the Strawberry Milk:
In a blender, combine the strawberries, maple syrup, and dairy-free milk. Blend for several minutes until smooth.
Optional: Sift the strawberry milk through a sieve to remove seeds and any remaining chunks for a smoother texture.
Make the Matcha:
Heat the dairy-free milk by boiling it or microwaving it for 1-2 minutes.
In a cup, add the matcha powder, hot milk, and maple syrup. Whisk together until well combined and frothy, using a bamboo whisk or milk frother.
- Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less maple syrup to taste.
- If you prefer a stronger matcha flavor, increase the amount of matcha powder to 1 tbsp.
- This recipe can be easily doubled or tripled to serve more.
