If you’re anything like me, there are nights when you just can’t wait for breakfast. I remember my grandmother’s kitchen, where the mornings always started with the smell of fresh coffee and something delicious waiting on the table.

She believed that breakfast should be a treat, and that’s a philosophy I’ve carried into my own kitchen.

Today, I’m sharing a recipe that’s become a favorite in my household—Biscoff Crème Overnight Oats. This recipe is perfect for those who love waking up to a ready-made, indulgent breakfast.

It’s creamy, sweet, and just a little bit decadent. And the best part? You can make it the night before, so your morning starts with zero effort and maximum enjoyment.

What You’ll Need for This Recipe

The Oat Base

  • 2 Small Bananas: Ripe bananas add natural sweetness and help bind the oats together.
  • 1.5 Cups Oats: Rolled oats are best for overnight oats as they soak up the liquid without turning mushy.
  • 1/2 Cup Vanilla or White Choc Protein Powder: I love using Macr0Mike White Choc Malt for an extra protein boost. (If you’re looking for a discount, try using code: amb-noa!)
  • 1.5 Tbsp Chia Seeds: These tiny seeds thicken the oats and add a boost of omega-3s.
  • 1.5 Cups Unsweetened Almond Milk: A light, dairy-free option that pairs well with the other flavors.

Biscoff Crème:

  • 2 Tbsp Biscoff Spread: This sweet, spiced spread is the star of the show, adding a rich, caramel-like flavor.
  • 2-3 Tbsp Vanilla Coconut Yogurt: Adds creaminess and a hint of vanilla. Feel free to use your favorite yogurt here!

White Chocolate Layer:

  • 35g White Chocolate: A bit of indulgence that pairs perfectly with the Biscoff.
  • 50g Coconut Yogurt: Complements the white chocolate and keeps the layer light and fluffy.

How to Make Your Biscoff Crème Overnight Oats

  1. Prepare the Oat Base: In a bowl or directly in your serving jars, combine the oats, mashed bananas, protein powder, chia seeds, and almond milk. Stir until everything is well mixed. Place the mixture in the fridge for 5-10 minutes to thicken slightly.
  2. Add the Bananas: Top each jar with slices of banana. This adds a fresh, fruity layer that balances the sweetness of the Biscoff and chocolate.
  3. Make the Biscoff Crème: Melt the Biscoff spread slightly, so it’s easier to mix. Combine it with the vanilla coconut yogurt, then divide this luscious mixture between your jars, creating a rich, creamy layer over the oats.
  4. Create the White Chocolate Layer: Melt the white chocolate with the coconut yogurt in the microwave for about 30 seconds, then stir until smooth and creamy. Spoon this mixture on top of the Biscoff layer in each jar.
  5. Chill and Enjoy: Cover the jars and set them in the fridge for a few hours or overnight. The longer they chill, the more the flavors meld together. In the morning, grab a jar, and enjoy your sweet, layered breakfast!

Ingredient Spotlight: Biscoff Spread

If you’ve never tried Biscoff spread before, you’re in for a treat. Originally from Belgium, this spread is made from speculoos cookies, which are spiced with cinnamon, nutmeg, and cardamom.

The result is a sweet, slightly caramelized spread with a unique depth of flavor that adds something special to any recipe. It’s perfect for these overnight oats because it brings both sweetness and spice, making each bite a little more exciting.

Tips for Perfect Overnight Oats

  • Adjust Sweetness to Taste: Depending on how ripe your bananas are and the sweetness of your protein powder, you might want to adjust the sugar levels. Feel free to add a drizzle of honey or maple syrup if you have a sweet tooth.
  • Get Creative with Toppings: This recipe is a great base, but don’t be afraid to experiment. Try adding fresh berries, nuts, or even a sprinkle of cinnamon on top for extra flavor and texture.
  • Dairy-Free Options: This recipe is already dairy-free if you use almond milk and coconut yogurt. However, if you’re avoiding dairy for dietary reasons, make sure your white chocolate is dairy-free as well.
