- 1 cup raw nuts I used 1/2 cup walnuts, 1/2 cup cashews
- 1 cup medjool dates I soaked mine in warm water first to soften
- 6 tbsp oats
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- ÂĽ cup cacao powder
- juice from 1-2 large oranges
- melted dark chocolate
- orange zest & shredded coconut optional for topping
Combine all the ingredients except the melted chocolate, orange zest and coconut in a food processor until the mixture sticks together.
Roll into balls and place on a parchment lined baking sheet. Refrigerate while you melt the chocolate.
Coat the truffles in the melted chocolate and place them back on the baking sheet.
Garnish with orange zest or any other toppings.
Freeze for about 30 minutes and enjoy! 🧡
- You can swap out the walnuts and cashews for your favorite nuts.
- If you don’t have medjool dates, any other soft dates will work, just make sure to soak them first.
- Feel free to get creative with the toppings—crushed nuts, sprinkles, or even a drizzle of white chocolate could be fun!
