Fondant Ingredients

  • 150 g cooked borlotti beans
  • 1 egg
  • 6 g unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 20 g milk
  • 15 g pistachio powder
  • 10 g pistachio puree
  • 5 g baking powder
  • 1 pinch fleur de sel

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  • Blend all the ingredients together until you have a smooth, homogeneous batter.
  • Pour the batter into a mold lined with parchment paper.
  • Bake for 30 minutes.
  • Let the fondant cool completely.
  • Sprinkle with vanilla icing sugar or prepare a chocolate icing and top with crushed pistachios.

Notes

  • You can add a sweetener to taste if you prefer the fondant to be sweeter, as this recipe contains no added sugar.
  • For an extra indulgence, prepare a chocolate icing and top the fondant with crushed pistachios.
